Life journey of an introvert

MSN Surprise

Got this surprised message from my MSN today.

A taxi passenger tapped the driver on the shoulder to ask him a question. The driver screamed, lost control of the car, nearly hit a bus, went up on the footpath, and stopped centimeters from a shop window.

For a second everything went quiet in the cab, then the driver said: "Look mate, don't ever do that again. You scared the daylights out of me!".

The passenger apologized and said, "I didn't realize that a little tap would scare you so much."
The driver replied, "Sorry, it's not really your fault. Today is my first day as a taxi driver. I've been driving a van carrying Dead Bodies for the last 25 years.

The Act of Pre-GSS

Note: GSS stands for Great Singapore Sale (26th May - 23rd July).

Guess what I've bought for the past 3 days:

Clockwise from left, a music CD which features this blind man who became the most popular singer in the country through a singing competition cum reality show. I bought this simply because of his mesmerizing voice and nicely written songs on the disc (I love ballads). Nothing more.

Next, Targus USB bluetooth adapter which I've been thinking of getting it for the past few weeks. Mainly use for data transfering especially photos which taken from my phone, and then transfer the files to my laptop. It's a hassle for me to hook up the data cable. Instead wireless which is much more convenient.

The one on the top right is also a music CD by Yellow Jackets, one of the well known jazz fusion band in the early 90's. I first heard them 3 years ago when they came to Malaysia and performed a concert at the prestigious Philharmonic hall located between the Petronas twin towers. Always wanted to get one but expensive. I saw this at a 2nd hand music CD store, selling at a bargain price. Very worth it.

Next is one of my favourite album during my teenage years, Take That - Greatest Hits. What can I say, all their bestest songs are in this album, also from that music store together with the Yellow Jackets.

And lastly a Moshi pouch for Ipod. Although that's for the 5th generation Ipod video, my Ipod mini is still able to fit in. Very nice fabric, like it a lot.

I hope I won't keep doing this for the next few days. Shopping mood can be quite dangerous without a proper control. Scary.

Happy Labour Day to those who worked today (that's me), or enjoying the public holiday.

Just came back from a well deserved leave from Seremban. Had a good rest and relaxation in a small, slow, quiet town. Spending a lot of good times with my godmother, my godkids (dogs), my best buddies, new buddies... and of course chatting, sleeping, eating, cooking, shopping and etc. I really enjoyed myself there even though I didn't do much there (that's exactly what i'm longing for).

Wonder when will be my next trip to Seremban again?

Still not sure whether I could make it for the Cameron Highlands trip in June...

Looking forward to my cousin's wedding on the 19th June, and I've been designated to perform two duties.

World cup 2006 is coming soon! Woohoo!!

Had KFC for dinner just now.

This month is a "decision-making" month for me. Several important decisions are to be made by this month. Decisions that are concering my future, my life direction, my desire desired by God.

Lord, may You grant me the desires of my heart. Here I am waiting for You. Use me and I shall obey; send me and I will go. Amen.
