Life journey of an introvert

Deng... Deng Deng Deng

After "pak toh" for a year, finally they got married last Saturday.

Prior to the wedding day, all the preparations and stuff went through smoothly. I was also involved together with Diana and Viola on the last 2 days before the wedding, basically being a multi-tasker (driver, decorator...). It was very tiring but in the end twas all worth while to give the couple one of the happiest moments in their lives.

Click on the links below to check out some of the candids which was taken before and after the wedding. Enjoy.

Wedding Day

Dan met with an accident yesterday. Thank God He was unhurt.

His car was hit at the back by another car, which resulted the car bumper being wrecked and dropped on the road. He called Sherman and told him the whole incident, including the driver who is a female. She was at fault in the car accident by hitting on Dan's car. But guess what, she claimed that it wasn't her fault and she didn't want to be responsible for the damage. Dan in the end had to use a rope to tie up the bumper and send his car to a workshop to fix it up.

When Sherman told me and Oli about this incident, he went on to shake his head and said, "Next time if happen to notice a lady driver on the road, better stay far far away from it". Then question arised when Dan asked him where would any driver notices other drivers on the road. Sherman with the big eyes staring t us and said, "I do!"

I could understand what he's thinking simply because this kind of case has happened to him on his old car. To summarise the story, he was driving along the road when the lady driver suddenly dashed out with her car and hit on Sherman's car back door. Again she was at fault and she didn't want to admit it but eventually she did. Brought the car to the workshop but claimed that she doesn't have enough money to pay for the damage. In the end Dan had to travel to her house to collect it.

I've heard so many stories from my colleagues and friends talking about female drivers. Talk about how they drive on the road and sometimes it's scary to see the way they drive their cars. Whenever there's something unusual or dangerous incidents happen on the road, coincidently or uncoincidently the driver happens to be a female. One of my male colleagues who was about to leave the office about few days ago, was in a little shock when a lady driver drove past besides his car with just two centimeters apart. He told us and shook his head with sigh and said, "lady driver".

I am in no intention to condemn or offend any female drivers in Malaysia. However the fact that many male drivers kept talking about how dangerous female drivers are when driving on the road, I couldn't help but to think if there's any issues or concerns from ladies especially when they are driving. I know my mum is afraid of driving at night time because it's too dark and hard to see. Some of them drive big cars but they could hardly drive and estimate distances due to the body height. Lack of concentration is also another issue to some of them and etc. In these kind of cases, should or shouldn't they drive on the road? Will they bring any danger to other drivers on the road? Why would they not admit mistakes when accidents happen? Afraid of being bullied by the casualties?

Hopefully I could see some comments on this post. Once again I would like to stress out that I am not refering or condemning to anybody in particular, but rather a concern to a social issue.

So, proudly presenting to you, BEN'S EIGHT RANDOM FACTS

1. Ben is a very organized person. Whether is conducting work activities or arranging his own things in his room, he will make sure that everything must be in order. He's happy when things arrange nicely and neatly.

2. Ben loves to eat all kinds of food. Oriental, Western, Greek... (His favourite so far is Italian food). Probably very much influenced by his chef idol, the one and only Jamie Oliver.

3. Ben likes to cook. It all has to thank his grandmother for her guidance in bringing him to the kitchen when he was young. Even though he started cooking chinese food, he hasn't cook a proper chinese home-cooked food for almost 3 years. He prefers to cook Western meals.

4. Ben likes to watch a movie/sitcom/drama numerous times if he likes it very much. Of course not watching numerous times in a cinema, but watching it at home on DVD.

5. Ben likes to play sports. Literally any ball games. His favourite 1-2-3 is Volleyball, badminton, table tennis.

6. Ben hates durian. Yucks

7. Ben is still an amateur in speaking Cantonese (no choice because most of his colleagues speak Cantonese in office), but learning and progressing well.

8. Ben cannot sleep after meals. (Some people said I'm weird because after meals supposed to be the best time to sleep! But not for me. hehe..)
